I thought I would have time to update this blog over the past few weeks with the remaining weddings from 2007 and the new weddings from 2008. But ..it didn’t happen. Life and business and other things took priority over the blog ..sorry! I hope to get to it soon.

Sorry -I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had any time to update this blog. We had a great year in 2007 and 2008 looks even better! I’ve got a ton of new images from the wonderful wedding’s we we’ve been honored to photograph in 2008 and still more from 2007!!! So, keep checking in for our latest and greatest.

General Information:
Prime dates from May-October are quickly reserved. So, act soon to reserve your date! We ask for a retainer of 1/2 of your total and signed contract (payable by check, credit card, or Pay Pal) to reserve the date. The remaining balances are mapped out into payments to fit your needs. We kindly ask that all payments are made in full on or before your wedding date.
Each wedding collection is designed based upon our a-la-carte pricing this allows us to meet your individual needs. Pricing starts at $650 for up to 6 hours of photography coverage includes all images on CD (as photographed) & release form (all other items and various hours are listed in a-la-carte pricing).
The a-la-carte pricing allows each couple to create a custom package to include everything they desire in wedding photography and not pay for anything more.
All of our products are of the highest quality. Images are individually evaluated and printed the highest level. Retouching on the Bride & Groom is included; any other items/person are by quote.
Album & Print prices are subject to change into the next calendar year –please ask for most current rates.
We are available for travel anywhere in the world. Travel, Meal and Hotel fees will apply for locations over 50 miles round trip from Clawson location at $0.75 per mile (hotel accommodations and meals may be necessary as well). Please contact us to determine rates. Holiday pay will apply for dates falling on or the weekends of the following holidays: New years, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

How did I get involved in photography?
That’s a tough question. It seems an almost innate feature in me, a “God-given” talent. Ever since I was a kid and through out High School ..I was always taking pictures. In college it just seemed the natural choice to select photography as my major. I worked my way through college assisting and shooting for various advertising agencies and companies. After college, I was more than well equipped in not only photography but digital imaging as well. I worked for major ad agencies, companies and individuals all over the world for several years. I was having a great time and this was a very fulfilling career.
Then roughly 9 years ago I switched to wedding photography soon after I got married. You see, when I was searching for a photographer for my wedding I honestly became very disenchanted with the lack of talent and style selections of the local photographers (mostly traditional). I was also offset by how much they wanted to charge, how THEY wanted to control my day ..And, how they would not even think about letting me keep the negatives for future personal use. This really made me think that things needed to change and that I could defiantly do a better job than the other studios in this area ..So, I started photographing weddings. And, I fell in LOVE with it. I really LOVE photographing weddings …how could I not. Weddings are filled with genuine wonderful moments. I feel truly blessed to have a career and talent that never seems like work.
My style of photography is always evolving. I typically work in a very quite, unobtrusive manner, capturing moments that might otherwise be missed. I am constantly challenging myself to do better -trying new techniques and trends to be as creative as possible. I consider myself an artist, yet I understand that my creative vision is a medium for your day and I take your ideas into consideration first. My goal is to provide you with a complete visual story of your day. From the all-important moments and to the small details. As a former Bride myself I understand much heartfelt thought as gone into every detail of your wedding day and I try to capture those details for you. I always take some traditional individual and group photos -but I do these as quickly and efficiently as possible so you can enjoy your day. After all it is your day! I want you to enjoy your self and your guest. I am there to document your wedding not only for you but also for future generations to come. That’s why with all of our packages you will receive ALL of the high-resolution images to keep!
Photography is my passion. It is in everything I do. It is what I do best. I truly feel blessed and honored with wedding I photograph. I look forward to helping you and your families preserve the memories of your wedding day too.
